Well in the midst of moving back to college I lost a newt! I box and fallen and hit the transport container for the newts, spilling Fridge on the floor. The other newt Creep is fine, but Fridge is gone, lost in the car somewhere, I have little hope that he will be found, it is about 10 deg. F. I did look tore the car apart in a McDonalds parkinglot, took out the chairs took apart bags EVERYWHERE, there where just too many little places for a newt to crawl into. I feel so horrible knowing that he is in the bowels of our van, hungry/overheating/freezing, I can only hope his death was quik and painless. I dont know how Im gonna replace him, he was my first and no animal can replace the first, he ate off of my fingers, was easy to switch to dif. foods, ate alot, NO probs whatso ever. Sorry to ramble, I am just so sad.
