More important than a name is being sure you're equipped for a second axolotl. They MUST be quarantined for at least 30 days before introduction into your tank. Your tank must be large enough for two axolotls. You must have enough hiding spots for two axolotls.

Well i know the owners of the petshop this one has been there on its own in that tank for 2 months, i have a massive tank and just bought a tank separator and i am putting a few more plants and a couple of hides in the tank upon arrival, keeping one territorial for neurus (her current hide) and a second for this beasty. i also have a spare tank setup ready just in case they become aggressive to one another. I understand that you are trying to be help and im not being awkward here but that response seemed a little bit patronizing.
I have sought advice on this from an expert, it is from a reputable and trusted breeder, and have bought precautionary supplies (pure salt, varieties of food, reptisafe) i will also be purchasing some alternate substrate (sand large pebbles moss balls etc). I am really getting obsessed with these little guys.

Hi Neurus, Its easy to become addicted to these creatures.
I don't think Kaysie was meaning to patronise you. As you spend more time on this site you will see that many people rush in first and then panic and require help to undo the damage that a little bit of patience and a couple of questions may have prevented.
Kaysie and the other moderators deal with alot of this.
So please don't be put off there is heaps of good advise and help on this site and the main concern is the well being of axies.
