As I was putting two groups of N.Kaiseri together I got my camera out to take pictures of the markings, I then went crazy and took a few others pics! I have a cleanup to do of the tank and glass, and have some rocks from another tank to add once they have settled in.
I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I have enjoyed viewing others :)

Great pics, amazing plants! I would add like you said some rocks (limestone) or the PH will quicky be too low for N. kaiseri. I just acquired my first kaiseri and it's always a pleasure to see pics!
Cheers
Francois

Very nice set up , and very nice newts!
What are youre kaiseri like with the lighting in your tank?
Mine hate it and are much more confident in natural light, your set up looks nice and bright, i would love mine like that, but my newts dont seem to happy with it.

The lighting was only put in place for the photos, there is a window opposite my tanks, if I left the blinds open all you would see in the pics is my reflection :)
They don't seem to mind the lighting though, I think they get hopeful that its feeding time so they come out and are pretty active. The longest I've really put it in place before is a couple of hours during weeks of bad dark weather, they have seemed happy enough with it though.

Lovely! I would love to have some kaiseri of my own some day. I always thought they were some of the most beautifully colored newts.

Hi. How many gallons is this tank? (or litres, I can work out the conversion. Think I spelled litres wrong but whatever.)

It is about 35US Gallons, but only 3/4 full.

Wow what a great setup, and great newts! Do you think you'll ever add substrate to this setup? A+ though really. Can't wait to get my Kaiseris.

Hey, thank you :)
No I don't think I will ever add substrate, I used to use gravel but I find a bare bottom tank is so much easier to keep clean. You can just shoot all unwanted material to one end of the tank and just suck it up.

Yeah I agree, Is that a rock with moss then netting around it that one is perching on? Hahaha that pic rules

I wish my tank looked that nice! I'm jealous!

What plants do you have?

By the way~I've never really seen this species before. They are very beautiful.

Thank you,

Java moss - Vesicularia dubyana
Elodea - Egeria densa
Java fern - Microsorum pteropus
Marimo/Moss balls - Cladophora aegagropila
Amazon sword? - Echinodorus amazonicus
Myrio green? - Myriophyllum hippuroides

? denotes a best guess, I am not a plant expert.

All are available widely in UK aquatic stores.

That is a great looking tank.I'm setting a tank up for one lone kaiseri. Do they go out of the water much? Mine is a ltc that has been kept terrestrial, but i'd like to keep it aquatic.

Gave me some ideas anyway.
