Need help with ID

Can anyone help ID this species?

I´d say it´s an ostracod, but no idea where to even begin in identifying its species.

You know...i fall for it every year...it´s not fair xD Our "fools" day is in december

Mind you, those seeds look a hell of a lot like ostracods! Maybe it´s an evolutionary strategy "don´t eat me, i look like something that shouldn´t be here AT ALL".
