This is my first 30 minute attempt at Axolotl Building. It's just the rough shape... but while doing this it occurs to me that I don't even know where the mouth is. I've "marked" an area where I'm guessing the mouth is... but some pictures look smaller and some look lower and huge. Can someone give me a clue as to how close this is or is not? :(

thanks,
Mac

Sounds like an ambitious endeavor, would love to see the finished product! Here are a couple of face on pics that may help. :p

Of course, most artists find it helpful to use a live model...;)

I'm guessing CAD software of some sort? I'm a computing student so i'd like to know because I'm nerdy like that ;)

Thanks! It looks as if the mouth is both lower and larger. More detail is needed too. Looks to be sort of tucked under there a bit.
And yes daniellog... it's a 3D Model. The main body and head were done with Cinema 4D. The rest in Carrara 7.0 Pro. It needs a LOT of work... 90% can be done pretty quickly. The rest will take hours because I am not that good. Texturing and making the skin look real will also be a chore. It has been "rigged" or "boned" so that I can pose or animate it... but I'm a long way from that.
