Yo waddup guys, thank you for taking your time to read this, so i got two axolotls, a white and a gold one, the gold one is kinda feisty and took a nip at the white one, this is the 2nd attack, so i want to know the best way on how to help the white axolotl recover, i heard fridging is a way to help axolotls heal however all the guides said to fridge at 5 degrees celsius but food spoils over 4, so i dont know what to do. Any help is appreciated.

First of all,
it would probably be best to separate them for bit, so that no more incidents happen
and as far as fridging goes, it would probably be the best way for your axie to heal,
with some luck she/he will recover soon but there's also the threat of a fungal infection :/
keep an her for the time being and keep her in some clean water.
hopefully someone a bit more experienced then I can help you.

Good luck! regards Sebguy

I would separate them so no further attacks occur as Sebguy suggested. I probably would not fridge but make sure that he is in clean, cool water. He is less likely to eat whilst refridgerated and I feel that it is important to keep his nutrition up to help the healing process.

Keep an eye out for fungus. You could try a black tea bath or some indian almond leaves to help him out a bit. If you are not able to keep him cool outside the fridge though it may be worth looking at the fridging guide (I think it is a sticky thread under the sick axolotl section).

Poor guy. I agree with the above posts. Separate the two, be cautious if you do introduce them back together. I would fridge him for a week just to give him a little boost. Your food is also important I get it, but try and use your chillers for your produce. dropping it 1 degree I don't think will immediately spoil your food. When I fridged one of my guys I brought it up to 8 for the week with no issues to the rest of my groceries. Just make sure you have a thermometer in the container you have the axl in. You Def don't want to go too cold.
