Need help identifying a salamander

I've not raised any amphibian before and know little about these creatures. I know what to feed it and it's habitat seems to be working for it. MAIN QUESTION: I aquired it from a small pond on a neighbor's forested property in the Mt. Rainier Foothills (Northwest Washington). It is about 2 months old, is now living out of the water, is shiny black with a beautiful golden strip that runs the full length of it's spine. It also seems to be developing faint gold speckling along it's sides. Anybody know what this species is and any other particulars?

A dusky perhaps, where do you live and how big is it now. I'm most likely too late in posting this message, but if you still want to know then tell me more.

There are no duskies on the west coast. Sounds like a long-toed salamander, Ambystoma macrodactylum.
