Necturus info needed

Ever since I got my n. maculosus, my interest in the species has continued to grow and grow. As it is, I've read everything I can find on the species, and I don't know where to look now. I read the stuff in Petranka's book, as well as several mediocre websites. If anyone has any information about necturus, I'd appreciate any help. Sources, good websites, articles, etc. Especially anything on their breeding behaviors, or any information on captive breeding programs. Any contacts, experts, etc. Anecdotes, etc are very much welcome.

its pretty much all about keeping the temp cool and feeding crwadads. As for breeding i think all you have to do is have a cooling period depending on were youre mudpuppy whent to

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
