I'm not sure if this is the right place for this; you guys have a lot of forums!
I've read a few places that natural light is sufficient for newts, especially given the heat that normally comes off bulbs. With my reptiles, I've always used artificial light because of the heat they produce, in combo with a heat lamp for several hours a day, but given that salamanders and newts require cooler temps, I know that won't work.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
My setup will be right up against a large glass window/door combo. What do you guys think about using only natural light? Have you had success with that, or do you not recommend it and prefer using artificial?
