Hi I've been a little worried about my female n.v.l. She has been going on and off their floating dock. When i got her she was about 2 inches know she's over 4 inches. I have had her since September of 2015. She would go on and off land when i first got her but she started breading and laying eggs around November and she never left the water in till July. Know she goes on and off her dock. She stopped laying eggs in may or June . But she still looks to me like she is gravid or she is still holding eggs i hope its not bloat. She eats good and if i take the lid off she heads back into the water. I will add pics of her next time i see her on land. I have never seen him on land except when i fist got him before i found out about cycling a tank.
So should i add more land area for her is this normal?
Could she be bloated i will add pictures?
Water never goes over 71f/22c average is 68f/19c.
They're eating habits haven't changed.
I test water about every three weeks.
Change 20% water weekly treated with reptisafe and it ages for at least 5 days. Plus i have a well.
Api master test kit
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20 to 30
Not a good diet frozen blood worms there larvae. For the past month adding sinking granules by reptomin with blood worms in hopes they eat some. Pluse i found out they like to hunt scuds. So thats will be added in.
Here are some pictures
