My Triturus_marmoratus tank

Hi to everybody I replace a few photographies of my tank with the triturus marmoratus

About setup (of a previous thread):
My marmoratus pratically never enter in the water.
They are always on the rocks, on the plants in such a way remain on the surface of water to be and receive a little of refreshment.
They seem to be afraid to enter in the water.

Are they still juveniles?If they are young yet it may take awhile til they enter the water.What are you feeding them on the land?Wingless fruitflies and springtails are a good food source for land newts.I like the tank set up,what are you using as the land area,great set up.

RE# two are CB spring 2008 and four spring 2009.

the land is of wood, which was coloured with water colours. Then I covered (4/5 hands) it with a water special product, flatting, to get it waterproof.Then I used a glue (silicon) to stick pieces of cortex.

thanks a lot for your comments.

The plants in the water are anubias and vesicularia dubyana and are very simple to keep. for the others, it is simple too; it's sufficient to keep them on the surface of the water.
