Today I rearranged my tank since some plants were dying on me.
And this is the result:

Any advice is welcome
Under the root there is a cave they love going into.

I have a plan of covering the coconut with moss. Also putting rocks together as a small "shelf/cave" thing, using glue. Then covering that with moss. Thats the plan atleast, but any advice is welcome!

This looks lovely, but your sand is too deep. At this depth you may find that you get smelly sand. I made the mistake of doing this when I first set up my tank, the sand ended up with pockets of black smelly stuff.

Thanks
I'm aware that that can happen with sand so I turn it manually when I clean out the tank.
I chose to have it that deep so the plants wont float around. Ideally i would have had a few snails to turn it, but have to find a species that wont hurt the axies

that looks like weekly sand stirring to me! i'm far to lazy for that :p
Is that hide a coconut???!?!?! that's so awesome!
the right half of your tank looks like some sort of tiki desert island paradise =D

Thank you both

Yes, that is a coconut. If you like it so much I'm sure you can pick one up yourself. They are very common in aquariumstores ;) Plan is to cover it with moss since I got it mostly for the axies and not so much because I like the look of it :p
