My tank is teh suck! Help!

My tank keeps getting cloudy before I do anything with it! It's glass and filtered, I have no gravel in it (or anything else) But the water gets so gross over night!

I'm really not sure whats going on, I keep removing all the water, then cleaning the tank then trying to restart the whole thing but it's getting no where. Help me:errr:

Cloudiness is likely to be caused by new tank syndrome. When your ammonia and/or nitrite levels are elevated (usually 3.0ppm or above) it can cause the tank to go cloudy. Kinda like someone poured a pint of milk into the tank.

If there is no livestock in the tank, then just leave it to go through this "milky" stage. It will sort it self out within a couple of weeks. By changing the water each time it goes cloudy you are simply starting over from scratch.

Buy an aquarium test kit or see if a store near you provides water tests.
