I don't know if this is really appropriate, but here goes:
I was just feeding my newts, I feed them all in jars and stuff except for my T. grans and Tylos, I feed by hand. And they know food is coming, and they come up and beg, and beg and beg! Well, one of my T. grans climbed up on the bridge decoration in the tank, stood on its back legs, and flapped its arms begging for its food! It was the cutest thing I ever saw. Needless to say, he got fed first.

Now the trick is to see if you can get him to do it again!

I would love to have seen that! Awww bless him!

Interaction with our amphib friends especially at that level is truly one of the most gratifying aspects of our hobby I feel.

I've heard many times that T. Grans is a very "interactive" species. It just encourages me more and more to look into getting one!

They're a great species, Melmo. Very 'cute' and outgoing. By far one of my favorite species (just don't tell the Ambystomatids!).
