Hey, i'm new here and i'm from Portugal. Just wanted to show you guys the pictures of my newts.
Cynops orientalis
A couple, which has already bred, only not in my possession.
I got it from a store which in turn had gotten them from someone who didn't want them anymore.

Pachytriton labiatus
These came to me in a bad shape. Due mostly to elevated temperature and bad diet. Now they are much plumper and nicer. The brown one is starting to show a row of red speckles.
Sex is still unknown.

Ambystoma mexicanus
My two male axolotls. Both of them male and have been with me for two years.
I got them when they were little larvae.

Yes, the axolotls are getting really big!!!
Can't wait to find out the sex of the Pachytritons, though i'm leaning towards them being two females

Great pictures and animals. It's always nice to hear from another newt keeper in Portugal.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
