My new tank setup

Here are some pics of my new tank setup I done a couple of days ago, a big improvement from what they had when I got them in September. All they has was river pebbles on a bare bottom tank and a couple of terracotta pots. They are much happier here in the planted tank. And are crazy about blood worms.

Looks lovely, but aren't neon fish tropical? (sorry, I don't know if that's the official name for them!)

Yeah the neon's (/cardinal's?) are tropical and prefer a much warmer temperature.

Might be an idea to re-home them in another tank if possible?

Nice tank i wish i had more plant life. Really like the colour of the golden axies might have to look into getting another

Glad people like my tank. Yes Neons are tropical but thought I would see how they go and at the moment they seem to be very happy and showing very bright colours whereas normally they don't show any if they are stressed. I didn't bother re-homing them as there were only half a dozen left from 50 anyway thanx to my ghost knife fish and figured they can stay there for food for my axies. I am now down to 5 lol
