Any comments most welcome. Sorry bout the poor photos

I love that dark sandy substrate. It looks so natural.

Spur has some lovely colouration in his/her tail. Looks like the patterns golden ones get only on a wild type.

lol im such a diddle! i thought those neons were real hahaha, made me look twice thats for sure! i like how youve sloped the sand, makes it look more natural. good work! im sure they love their new home

WOW, spurr does have gorgeous colouring!!
Love the planting too. They have lots of room to run a muck in. They look great in there, i bet they love their new home.
Hey - is that a log in the far left corner?

I'm not 100% sure what it is, but it looks good!
Well done!

Thanks for your comments everyone! I've tried to keep it as natural as poss...Though still on the hunt for a decent background to match. lol. Spurr is still in quarantine at the moment but I can't wait until they are both in there...I think they'll have a ball.

Jojo,
it's actually resin rocks from ebay lol. Dudette loves hiding behind them.

lol Sharn...definitely fake neons.

looking good Suzanne

Spurr has the uncanny knack of being able to look lighter or darker when he/she (not sure which yet) decides too...
Can be quite a pain if your trying to take a decent photo as sometimes just blends right into the background. lol...can axie's camouflage?

I love Spurr's shiny tail!

Thanks! I like his/her tail too...I think that's why I just had to get spurr...caught my attention. Who am I kidding...I'm addicted lol.

Hayley,
Is that a new pic of Elsa? I love it she almost looks two toned...gorgeous.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
