My new second member of the family

I finally got the second member of the family about two weeks ago. He's (only a guess at the gender) only about 8.5cms long, I *think* Leucistic (or whatever the word is). I called him Hephaestion, named after Alexander the Greats lover. He's been happily living with Dickie, my 15cm assumed wildtype. I didn't think I'd be able to keep them together but there's been no bullying or violence, except Dickie likes to half sit on Hephaestion occasionally.
He's really active, I find him constantly swimming around the top or having a ride on the filter current, which came as a surprise because Dickie isn't very active. Maybe its a baby thing?

I adore axolotls. It's brought me so much joy watching them grow and feeding them. They are so much cooler than people realise

You might not have seen any bullying or violence yet ,but your new axie is to small to be kept with the other and soon will become lunch.

He has really unusual gills, all of the leucistic axolotls I've seen have clear, salmon-pink gills, and I like his little freckles!

I have to agree with Slimer though, I'd be very worried about keeping such a small axie in with Dickie, there's quite a big gap in size.
