Thought I'd post some pics and a video of my little golden axi I have Since I don't know its gender yet, its been nick named Juvi Please excuse the dirt and muck in the container, after feeding, I always put the axi in a nice, clean container of dechlorinated water :happy:

So cute,I love its eyes! Did you get it from a pet store? I've always wanted a golden but I'm overrun with wild types at the moment. I can still dream!

Yeah, I think it's adorable :happy: I got it from iSuzie, one of the members on here actually, she kindly gave it to me when I went to visit her a while back. I tried to get really cool close ups, but my stupid mobile phone camera wouldn't focus :lame:

I love when they eat tiny pieces of earthworms its gorgeous isn't it! He/She is gonna grow so fast on nice juicy worm pieces

I hope it doesn't grow too fast, then I'll have to get a tank set up quickly, which is hard to do. :happy:

I can't believe I never noticed that! Thanks Morrison Luckily, I don't eat axolotl, so don't worry, the axi won't be microwaved as a snack

By the way, I've taken some more pics and I don't think I've ever met a more photogenic axi! It comes right up to me and poses for the camera! Juvi's all like; 'Did you get this side of me? Oh your phone's camera won't focus? ok, how about this side? how about a striking pose that says I'm awesome?' It's quite funny to watch too.
