My guy and his setup

Here's my guy Asheron, and his 10gallon tank. The gravel will soon be replaced by sand. Only one store in my area carries it, and so i have to drive out there. Please note, the fish are now breakfast for my friends turtle.

sorry to say this, but your axie seamed to eat gravel, he is all swollen up, and there are huge lumps on his stomach, I hope I´m wrong but if it is you better remove him from that tank until you have the sand, or just remove the gravel.

lol, no, you're right. he's a big gravel eater, but he regurgitates them later. i'll take out the gravel now though, till i can get the sand. thanks for input

Not all the gravel would come out , and he could get constipation, I would be worried, if I was you.

hmm... okay, so i moved him out of the tank, and he's in a temporary holder for now. is there anyway i can help him get rid of the rocks? he's still swimmin fine...

the best thibg it to let nature take its turn and he will get rid of them in his fecies

I heard you can put him in the fridge - not sure, though - i'm just a beginner - mines in the fridge and she hasn't pooed yet!

Sorry for grossness

Hello, I’m hoping for some advice please. Our Axolotl is about 7 months old. Till now no problem. Eating, growing and happy. He’s simply stopped eating. Everything looks fine, his gills look healthy and no apparent signs of sickness. He just swims past the pellets and bloodworm like he can’t smell it. I don’t think it’s a blockage either. Any ideas and suggestions for treatment would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
