Well, tonight I moved out two of my baby C.o's that have morphed pretty well completely into a new tank. Unfortunately in the process I managed to drop one of the squirmy little fellows. He was lethargic for a couple of minutes, but scampered off quickly when I put him in the new tank and I haven't seen him since. The other one is being very inquisitive and checking out the land area quite extensively.
One thing I noticed is that neither of them have very bright red tummies. I fed them bloodworms as larvae, and have seen many of them eating them like spaghetti...most amusing. Is it too late once they've morphed for them to develop the red/orange belly?
I assume since they're red that bloodworms are a good source of caratenoids(sp?), I was wondering if brine shrimp would be as well?
