I just thought i´d point out that the species is most definitely Salamandra salamandra...what you don´t know is the subspecies, although i would venture that they probably are S.s.salamandra.

By the way, doesn´t the light over the tank create too much heat?

cool. I diddnt want terrestris because they are so common. I was suspecting that scince they have spots not bloches.
