Looks good, is there a filter in the aquatic part? If not you should get one, a fluval 1 plus should be fine (just a suggestion)you never know what could get in the water.

i am going to use natural filtration in the form of plans gunna use duckweed and elodea, tbh there is very little water in so natural will be fine with regular water changes

You´ll see the water will get collapsed with filth after ten minutes every time you change it. Fire bellied toads are a mess hehe. I don´t use soil anymore because they manage to move it all into the water.
So if i were you i´d rather change to another bedding or use a really good filter Ô_o
Just an opinion though.
btw the setup looks really good

That is a really nice tank. Congrats on the new fire-belly toads.

will monitor the water however i am sure that the water is not deep or a large enough area to use a filter however any ideas on filters will be appreciated...just a little worried if i use a filter it will take up valuable water space.

As anyone else used natural filtration...also the soil is mostly covered by moss sheets...decisions..decisions

how many toads will it house?
If you wanted to, you could use a small airpump-driven filter. I think that you will be changing the water too often for the filter to be useful; you will be keeping it clean by refreshing the water instead of allowing it to mature.

I don't know if elodea will tolerate very frequent disturbance for water change. Java moss might be a better idea. I would leave the water bare-bottomed to allow easier cleaning. Duckweed would probably end up removed from the water by either water changing or the toads themselves.
You could also plant some pothos (devil's ivy) in the tank, or root it directly into the water (it will grow hydroponically). There is a picture of a bombina maxima tank in the frog part of the forum with a pothos 'wall' in it.

It looks very nice, though.

that´s the biggest bombina i ever saw man.....wow!
My biggest one looks just the same as the one in the down-right. I love it when they have little black and a brilliant green.
really nice animals, good luck.

which tank would you put them in ...if you look at the piccys at top of post picture 2 or 3?

That is a big toad! She is probably full of eggs so your in luck. Her black blotches are way bigger than the other guys'.
