I got Diego as a christmas present and have loved having him around. He had a bad spell because of the heat but his all better now and putting on weight. Here are some photos that ive taken over the last couple of months.

He's looking better, but your gravel is still a troubling size.

Wouldn't this gravel be of a size that an adult sized axie could pass easily if it was ingested? Thanks for your comments.
 
I think the gravel shown in the photo is the wrong size. If several pieces were ingested, it could cause problems. Having seen a lot of posts about problems caused by gravel, I would recommend not having it.
 
yeah i no its not the right size, but im having trouble finding sand for the tnk and i dont want a bare floor. He doesnt eat any at the moment so as long as hes not its going to stay until i find some sand.
