Lexus, you can't really see from this angle but he has 4 feathery prongs on his right the extra comes across the top of his head.

There are only the tiny bits on his head no where else. I was gonna go for coloured sand but decided i liked the naturel look better! Thank you for your comments! I love lookin at pics so thought i would share mine

They are lovely! I like the look of your tank, it looks very clean and healthy. How are old are your babies now?(not that they look it anymore

They are about 6 months old now, thanks i've put more hiding place in and more plants too .

Is it Nikita in the first pics? Such a 'serious' looking Axolotl LOL. The more pics I see of other Axies the more I am sure they each have different personalities just like us humans! But ALL your babies are cute and your tank looks very cosy too.

Hi, wow It makes me laugh when older posts pop back up :)

I had my two wildtype from little and at 6mth (in the pic) they were about 6" but I think it varies per axolotl.

Hi Joanne, Yep that right, they are in split tanks now cos my white ones are lads and wildtype are female, I thought she was a he and I ended up with 100+ eggs All babies are doing great so I have lots a little lotls now.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
