Shadow is so lucky to have a good 'mummy' like you. He looks horribly thin and ill in the old pic. Had he been mistreated? He looks fab now! You have done so well
i got him from a bait shop. i felt so sorry for him, he wouldn't eat for weeks. his tough axie. I had him in a small tank with really cold water by putting ice blocks in it and offering food to him every day.
you have done a awesome job!. if i were you i would report that bait shop because the condition that axie used to be in when you first got him is absolutly horrifying. i cant believe anybody would be so cruel to neglect an animal like that. i applaud you for your great work on recovering your axie, he is extremely lucky to have you as an owner.
yeah. the man in the store said i could have him for free and he didn't know what was wrong with him. All the other axies were fine though. i just felt soo sorry for him so i took him home hoping he would live and he did, yes i am very proud.
He was my first ever axie. So i didn't know anything. Then i looked on this site and found out a whole heap of info. Which is why he is his still here now. So thank you all so much.
My goodness. I have never seen such a skinny axolotl. That is awful. Luckily you were able to save it! I have recently bought a mistreated axolotl too, with nearly all the gills bitten off. Gradually they are growing back!
