Shadow is so lucky to have a good 'mummy' like you. He looks horribly thin and ill in the old pic. Had he been mistreated? He looks fab now! You have done so well

OMG..
You've done an amazing job with shadow, That is just scary.

i got him from a bait shop. i felt so sorry for him, he wouldn't eat for weeks. his tough axie. I had him in a small tank with really cold water by putting ice blocks in it and offering food to him every day.

You've done a fantastic job, Elissa. Shadow's lucky to have you as a mom.

Although now he is getting a cancer or something growing on the side of him. Poor little guy. his had a hard life. little hard too see in a picture.

nice work on the axies.
must have been scary when he was that sick.

Yeah. But i have to admit that i didn't think he would live.

you have done a awesome job!. if i were you i would report that bait shop because the condition that axie used to be in when you first got him is absolutly horrifying. i cant believe anybody would be so cruel to neglect an animal like that. i applaud you for your great work on recovering your axie, he is extremely lucky to have you as an owner.

yeah. the man in the store said i could have him for free and he didn't know what was wrong with him. All the other axies were fine though. i just felt soo sorry for him so i took him home hoping he would live and he did, yes i am very proud.

He was my first ever axie. So i didn't know anything. Then i looked on this site and found out a whole heap of info. Which is why he is his still here now. So thank you all so much.

My goodness. I have never seen such a skinny axolotl. That is awful. Luckily you were able to save it! I have recently bought a mistreated axolotl too, with nearly all the gills bitten off. Gradually they are growing back!

OMG what a great job you did Elissa. That pic broke my heart, I'm so happy he is a healthy little guy now!
