A few weeks ago, my axolotl (named Bobby) had what looked to be a fungus on his gill and on one of his toes. He was fridged for two weeks and gives two salt baths a day on that last week. It looked like it had cleared up and the past week he has been lookingvey lively back in the tank. (And eating too!)
Today, he looks distressed, his gill is looking deteriorated with some white on it, and he was using his back leg to kick at the hurt gill.
I have him back in the fridge and have given him a salt bath. Is there anything I'm missing and should do for Bobby?? Thanks in advance!
*attached are photos of both of his gills for comparison.
