My axolotl laid eggs last night and there white I thought only albino axes laid white eggs. My female is a golden and my male is black. Is this normal?

Congratulations on the eggs!
All the best with the larvae.

Yes it is true if the mother is albino, the eggs will be white. Goldens, are also albino.

From axolotl.org -
The first is the golden albino (D/D a/a or D/d a/a). It has normal migration of pigment cells, but lacks melanophores, hence the yellow/gold appearance

Thanks. I wasn't sure. I only found 22 but thats a nice number to start on as its her first lot and mine. not sure if there all good as some are like in the photo log on this site Axolotls - Embryo Photo Log the 10hour picture and some look like the eggs in the day 4 picture. not sure if thats normal

My ax laid some more eggs late yesterday afternoon. The first 22 that she laid some are starting to neuralate and now I have an extra 15 from yesterday so should be nice.
