I am not entirely sure of their ages, I know they are juvenilles though. My five year old daughter named the wild type Fred and the melanistic Lucy.
Actually, these pics were taken the day that I got them, before I had done a lot of research on them. I am the administrator of a reptile and amphibian rescue, so I get contacted often about quite a few interesting heptiles. Someof them find a permanant home with me, but most are adopted out to responsible homes. These guys are staying
The tank volume is about 60%, and there is a filter. Absolutely none of the stones are small enough to be swallowed, as an experienced herpetoculturist I have at least that many smarts, lol
I am planning on doing 20% water changes every week. Food particles are easily handled during water changes using a substrate vaccuum.
Here is another pic that I took the other day, but had not had a chance to upload yet. It shows the water volume in it's current capacity. It does not however show the full length of the tank.

The cloudiness of the water is simply a trick of bad photography, lol. In reality it is crystal clear.
