Hi Lucea,
Great pictures! They are very cute. I'm having a difficult time picking a favourite picture but I have to say I really like the second one down. You can picture him saying "A little farther, a little farther, Oh where's the darned plant already!" Please keep posting them.

Hi Lucea...

Nice shots. They are looking very interested in your cam. They seems to be photogenic.

You are capturing some very nice pictures. I love the head poking out in the last one it is quite comical. She/he is quite the little poser. Please keep taking & posting they are very enjoyable to look at.

Hi Lucea,
Quite a nice collection you have there! Correct me if I am wrong but is your Notophthalamus viridescens your favourite? When you say look at my profile it only lists what type of species kept not a head count of how many you actually have. I am quite impressed with the amount of newts, salamanders&frogs you have. They look happy & healthy. Take care & keep posting. Oh yeah, do you have a head count?

Hi Michelle,

yes, you have right, notophthalmus viridescens is ones of my favourites, but the best are the alpine newts bzw. triturus alpestris aquanus ;-)
For the lists from my pets look in my hp (www.leopardgeckodream.ag.vu/mein_tierbestand.html).
Thanks four your feedback.
And more pictures..

For a moment I thought, my newt died, but she lay eggs :)

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
