My 55 gal driftwood planted tank

Here's my set up with new sand and planted drift wood if thought the driftwood was a great way to have an "axolotl proof" planted tank just added black sand

That looks great! My axi's don't bother plants that are planted in the sand, as long as they don't get uprooted in the first couple weeks. It might be worth trying.

Thank you .I will if I get more sand right now I have just enough to coat the bottom. That's the second reason for a heavily planted log lol
