So I finally purchased, brought home, cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and setup my 110gallon tank. Right now all i did was dump everything from my 50gallon into it and buy a new filter for it but I hope soon to start setting it up to bereally pretty. I am up for any suggestions too!

110 gallon rimless tank....
I WANT ONE SO BAD RIMLESS TANKS ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Those lucky axolotls!

Its custom built too so it isnt a floating bottom tank either :) i think it was a good buy.

How much did it cost you?

For the tank and the stand its on it was 100$ it also came with a screen top but i dont need that i will be mounting my light onto the tank once i have some more money. I got the filter on clearance for 60$ so i spent 160 to setup the 110gallon

Sounds like a good deal to me! Have fun :)

That's about $150AUD that's a pretty good deal! Ahhh I wish I could have such a big tank but I'm pretty sure my family would think I'm slightly crazy.. They don't understand :(

I think Everyone thinks im crazy already so it doesnt matter anymore lol. I just got the quote for the custom glass mount for my tank light and its only going to be 20$ :)

Wow! What kind of lighting? Fluorescent?

I assume so, it was the light that was on my 50gallon, but unfortunately it only extends 4 and a half feet and my new tank is 5feet so i decided to get two pieces of glass to silicone to my tank to mount the light on.

Good idea! I have a fluorescent light strip that fits over my tank perfectly but it has no cover or anything and I have a spray bar that creates some splashing so I'm going to get an acrylic cover for it and silicone it on

Thats a good idea too! Yeah i dont use a hood expecially during the summer so i bought a light that is just the canopy or whatever you call it, it can be mounted on the ceiling but i dont want to do that.

That would be nice! I got my light from someone for 30$ but its a 150$ light with no bulb. So you would still need to buy that so i say that is a rediculous awesome deal. Leds would be great though because of heat.
