I needed additional tank space in my newt room and this is what I made it holds 9 tanks the front has 3 access doors the bottom door is for storage ,it also has built in siphon system that drains outside to my flower garden

I think a lot of people with multiple tanks might be interested in details about that. I'm curious about the access doors and how much weight the setup is supporting.

The doors are hinged to open down wards, with stop -support chains in the open position.
The frame work is 1/4 inch thick angle iron welded to the size of my tanks ,with extra for working inside of tanks,, I guessed each tank at 70lb as they are never full of water most are 50/50 or there about, I also bolted the rack to the wall as a just in case factor, Before using it I put empty tanks in the rack and filled them 100% with water and waited a few hours (wife insisted) I used 6 , 4 foot long grow bulbs for plants ,The top is slanted and open on the ends to allow heat to escape and have temp gauge to check it , can all ways add fan if needed, this is the 2nd one I have made and am happy with it so far, As for the species all Triturus
