Mr Pink

here are some pics of Mr Pink now that he is almost grown and in his new 20 ga tank. ive had him since mid-april and thanks to the people here who helped us thru the ammonia burns and funky fungi he is doing great.

wow lik the tank alot man~!! and pinky too, is that second pic a worm its eating? when i leave works in the tank, my one neva seems to find it and so i have to hand feed it everyday, which is kinda weird, its like taking care of a baby

its a nightcrawler. the 3rd pic shows him actually gulping it down. they are easier to buy and last longer in the fridge than regular earthworms ime. i feed him by hand most of them time altho he can find them on his own. it is alot more like a baby than a fish or something, especially when they are small and you have to cut the worms up and drop them right in front of their faces. i might add some more plastic plants, they glow in the dark too which looks cool at night.

yeah espically if u have a tank in ur room cause that will look cool, btw where did u get that blue sand, i m loving it, which do you think is better blue or black sand, if its back my axie can like be camerflaged in it which will be a bit weird. oo ever heard of fluresent sand? my friend as a fish tank with fluresent tetra fishies his whole tank is flurescent, the plants, rocks, sand even the fish, its totally cool, kinda wish my axies is fluresenttoo then i can do the same thing, but that would be kinda weird

i found the sand in the garden section of the local nation-wide wall to wall discount mart. it is dyed play sand. says safe and non-toxic. i did have to wash it for a pretty good while with the hose and bucket in the yard. thought the blue color would contrast nicely with the terra cotta pots. usually i am a fan of the natural look but since mr Pink is albino and definaltely not a natural color anyway i opted for the insane colors. never heard of flourescent sand but i did see some glow in the dark plastic pebbles that might look pretty cool scattered around the bottom

woow thanks i shall realy look for play sand instead of aquaium sand, since i think it cost cheaper, the flurscent sand is about the same colours as nomal sand but they contain bits of flourescent parts so it looks like the whole sand floor is fluresent, but its only a few. thats what i think it is anyway. i just to say again i really like ur tank its way better than mine
