Yes we have found a townhouse and will be moving from our third floor apartment for a townhouse with a basement. Our kids need more room and I need a basement for my fish, and amphibs. A win win for all. My wife said I can have whatever tanks I need in the basement....Boy she doesn't know what kind of trouble that statement will get her in...:grin: We discussed getting a dart frog tank going....Also I want to return back to my reefer roots and get some sea horses. I had a project in the works but space wasn't available....
 
Congratulations for your new habitaculum! I also love seahorses.
 
Congrats on the house, rick! Sounds like a great new home for the newts. And oh yeah, for the kids too.;)

Thanks we are happy. Central air! I am so tired of hurting my back putting in window units:( I did put two in today since it hit 90 here today. It is not suppose to be this hot this early in Spring....The kids will finally have a yard and some space to move around. The seahorse project gears are moving. Like newts another endangered species so it is really important to get CB.

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
