Hey all. I'll be moving to my upstate apartment for the school year. I received my axies in water bottles so I know they should be good for the trip (barely six hours at worst), but since one of my guys is a bit too big to fit in his original water bottle I'm going to use a gatorade bottle instead. This should be sufficient? I opened an old gatorade bottle I had around and it smelled a little funky so I dumped it, rinsed it with water then added boiling water from the pot of driftwood I've been boiling, shook it around and dumped it then rinsed it again. Does this sound adequate? I'm packing everyone now, they should be out and about again by hopefully 7, maybe 8 since I need to scape their digs a bit (add soil and sand cap for new live plants). I'm keeping almost all of their old water, plus dosing with Prime just to be safe. Sound good?

Sounds good. I wouldn't bother to keep some much water - a 50% water change should be tolerable. Be sure the old water stays aerated, it could get funky if it's sealed up.
