Moving plants from one tank to another

Ok i need some opinions.

My WC C.o. tank is overgrowing with several types of plants. I would like to move some of these plants into my CB C.e.p. tank and put some in with my c.c. larva when they arrive. Do i have to worry about pathogens traveling on the plants between the two containers?

The c.o. tank is in desperate need of a weeding and i dont want to just throw all the plants away.

ok, that is what i was thinking. I mean, the plants i have in with my c.e.p. right now were from a petstore, and god knows what else they had in there with them. The c.e.p seem to do fine too.

You should probably wash them off with unchlorinated tap water, but if you don't they'll probably be perfectly fine.
