Illness/Sickness: Mouth rot/bloat in fire belly newt

Hey guys, need a little bit of advice!

I have a Japanese fire belly newt who is now 5 years old. Over the past month or so, i have noticed that he has developed a swollen throat, like a bubble. I think he may have bloat or mouth rot. Can anyone give any advice as to what i should do please or as to what else it could be?
He also shares a tank with a Japanese fire belly toad but he seems unafected.

I would advise a vet take a look. Until then separate it from the toad.

Julia´s advice is the best we can offer.
I would add to it by saying you need to separate the newt and the toad ASAP. Those two species should never be kept together.
