i have heard several differences of opinion over using moss as a substrate for fire bellied toads, could anyone give me their experinces with it,

cheers for tip checked the forum out and it seems quite a few use moss, wanted to make sure because i think it makes the tank look a lot better, noticed no one got back to you with advice i know loads about rats gerbils mice hamsters and fish but know not a lot about amphibs sorry.

*grins* Pretty much the same here.
Rickeezzee is a frog breeder, and has some incredible specimens as you'll see. I've had so much information and feedback off them, it's amazing - and it's not just on the page I have there, I've had emails, all sorts.
Amphibians are a little bit more fiddly than fish IMO, they're more delicate and respond badly to chemicals - but well kept they make fab pets.

Spyyk the axolotl got me started, and then I took the logical step to frogs.
I'm tempted by Milkfrogs too!

Moss is definitely fine. Remember, even though they look dead, they are usually alive with just a little misting of water!
