Question: Moss wall

I want to put a moss wall in my 20 gallon tank, but am not sure what material to use to for the moss to grow on. I was thinking of going to the craft store and looking for some type of netting, but I'm not sure how to tell what is safe to put in the tank. Thanks!

I have a moss wall in one of my tanks and I used plastic canvas used for needle work from the craft store, suction cups, and fishing line to sew it together. I've had no issues with it and the moss has grown very well through it.
