Is it a bad idea to feed your C oriental juveniles mosquito larvae. I have watched this kid on YouTube feeding orientals mosquito larvae. He has lots of videos on YouTube about raising C orientals. Ihtw reptiles on YouTube he seems to know some stuff.

They are fine, don't put any in house tanks if you mind being bitten

I do this all the time with Salamandra larvae. great for varying the diet and completely easy to get hold of them. I'd say culture, but you don't even need to do that. Just leave some standing after.

IHTW Reptiles is NOT a trustable source of information at all. He collected amphibians only to release them later, a great way to spread disease. He also mixed C. orientalis with Paramesotriton species. While some of his info may be accurate, lots isn't, so i would check on here to see if what he says is accurate before applying it to your keeping practices. Just a word of caution.

I saw that video to that is why i asked. Plus he recommended putting 2 C orientals in 5 gallons tank. Because they fit and get along not because of water quality. I did not he released pets into the wild. I just watched a few of his a few raising c oriental videos.
