Well here are some recent photos of my T. gran. They have started to morph rather rapidly. I am still keeping them in an aquatic setup with lots of plants and islands and at this point they are still readily feeding on blackworms.

Wow! They look great! Good job! Have fun with them, and good luck!:D

They look good. I like your cork trivet island, that's inspired.;)

It is amazing to see the progression of their lives! Bravo Audrey!! How big is the container you keep them in?

Which container? ha ha
I am keeping them in 3 tubs that are about 1ft by 2ft and then I also have two tubs about half that size that the rest are in.

They are very nice. Congratulations;)

Sounds like you have a lot. Have you kept a running total of these morphs?

Great work. Thank you for showing us your hard work.

Simply wonderful. Well done.

Hey, great job! Those baby Taricha are looking great. All the orange larvae perched in the plant looks awesome.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

sorry I am having a hard time trying to upload the pictures- I have them saved on my hard drive... any suggestions-the prompts here are not allowing for downloads that way as far as I can tell. Thanks
