I thought E-bay didn't allow the sale of live creatures...
 
They dont but for some reason aquatic animals amongst all are for some reason allowed:rolleyes:. They sell lots of fish and aquatic inverts also.
 
Very sad. They dont look too healthy. And thier care discription is very vague and what is said is incorrect. Poor little guys.
 
Wow! So wrong. That's an awful high price for something to put in your pond when from the look of them they wont be found anywhere near the pond in another week or so.

They are being kept in a jar and who can tell if they are Spotted Salamanders?

Can anyone here get a straight ID from those pics? I seen FBN's and Red Eft's lots of time that look like **** also but at least they have been reasonably priced.

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
