These are for my friend in Ireland. The black Axie is my black Axie Grimace Gargamel! I love him to bits. The white one is Titus of course, the Harly Axie is just a cute axie I thought up. Enjoy!
Jeez, how long did it take you to draw in all the gill fibres?? Nice work, Rheann. Hope you have a nice stress free holiday - try and get some sleep eh ?
yes I am very tired. I have no time to sleep though, I must work on my book. I take breaks and visit this forum or check my email, or just look at stuff on the net. I actually drew the fibers with a gel pen, so really was only a matter of a few minutes. What took me so long was coloring their bodies in, because I use a blending pencil to get all of the nice shades, that way I don't use up too much of my pencils. Prisma pencils are really expensive! You can get a box of about 25 pencils for nearly $50 or $60 here in the states. They also sell boxes of them I think that have 200 or something in them. I can't afford those, so I don't look at them lol.
Hmm I wonder if there ever will be an axie with Harly’s coloring. One day axies will become as popular as gold fish, we need to go out into other aquatic forums and tell them about this site so they too will love axies, then axies will rule the world ha ha ha . I may have just got a bit carried away then but it’s true we need more axie hobbyists so we can get different colors
Hey Rheann, love the pics, you should do a book on axolotl care and illustrate it, my friend did one on guinea pigs, similar style of drawings (guinea pigs) and the book is very famous here in the UK
Thanks Pamela, actually, seceret to tell! I am currently working on a book for children about the care on Axolotls, and it will be fully illistrated! I came up with the idea when I visited home, but I wanted to surprise everyone on this forum about it later if I actually had some pretty good progress on it. I need a storyline though, because not only am I doing the care and maitance on Axolotls, I will be doing cute little stories on them. I love Axolotls so much, it will star my Axies of course
Also, I will put the link to this website in my book, so that everyone can know who reads my book that this site can further help them with any information that I leave out in the book. I will do my best to write good books on Axolotls, but this site is really the back bone of the whole idea!
Everyone who posts helpful information, and the site it's self.
hey nice drawings! i noticed that you drew the black one in 2006? am i correct, or is it just my eyes, i just notice these things, i like to look at how people sign their work just as much as the art itself, gives it a sense of ownership, but well done rheann, cute!
