I have two sibling shanjing just over 8cm and one shanjing 7.5 cm. I was thinking of getting a little 18 inch tank and putting them together.
Had them a few months.

Any tips? Or just leave them separate?
Thanks

Well 5mm I don't see would cause any trouble between the individuals, you will still get competition between them all over food either way. The question is, why put them together after they have been separate? :)

I personally have a 6 - 12 week QT and ISO period, other people have a 6 month QT and ISO period so really it is up to you. If it has been more than 6 weeks and you see no signs of infect and the animals are healthy then it should be fine lol I have never seen aggression between individuals of the same species in the genus so if your worried about fights between the group then I highly doubt it. Competition like I said before, would and should be your main concern.

Been keeping them in rearing tubs at the moment. Fancied moving them into tanks easier to observe, however, cant have too many tanks in my accommodation.
Also if I have sexed them right it looks like a 2.1 ratio for future breeding.

After some thinking I am going to keep the juveniles separate a bit longer. I will mix them eventually but the two juveniles past few days have doubled in body condition so the other juvenile has some catching up.

To prevent annoying the landlord going to split a tank. Will post pictures.
Thanks for the comments josh was concerned about competition of food.

12x18 tank, loads of cork bark hides, live and artificial plants.

Any thoughts should I put them together. I have had them a few months now so well quarantined.
