Mixed species

I just got some fire-bellied toads about 2 days ago, and with them I went out and bought a book about them. In it, it said that they are ok to be with African dwarf clawed frogs in the same tank. Do you think If I made the water deep enough(plus lots of land, I have 5 in a 30 gal) for the water frogs and lots of underground hiding for them that they would be ok?

FBTs are known to eat the dwarf variety. Plus, most everyone here will tell you that mixing species is a very bad idea because one or the other will wind up as lunch or get seriously hurt.
