Congrats to the proud parents and grandparents! Raising offspring is fun, but can be pretty demanding. Best of luck!

Congrats ron! Babies are lookin good! Well done. Mel.

Congratulations!:D

They are looking fine. The little wild types are very light in color and I´m expection their development.
Please keep us posted.

Thanks everyone I'm really chuffed.

Kaysie, I'm up for the challenge

Bellabelloo, thanks, I wanted to rep you for your quick congrats but I need to spread the love around before I can give you any more - maybe someone else could do the honours for me.

Mel, thanks largely to your help and advice I am ready for this, with a good food supply and plenty of confidence - I'm also £70 closer to a larger tank after selling some eggs.

Callina, The wild types are almost yellow with black markings in natural daylight and the albinos also have a yellow tinge about them. Dad is also quite light under strong daylight or fluorescent lighting as you can see, so I'm guessing/hoping that I will have little miniatures of mum and dad here.

Lol...I am not fussed about the rep etc..I like to keep a low profile :p
When I raised larvae I found that the speckly ones became wild types. They can be very interesting..

Glad i've been of help and not confused you. I tend to confuse myself a lot. Lol. Mike is gorgeous and the babies do look like they will be the same colour. Very cute markings on such young babies! Mel

Here are some pictures of a few of the, 2 month old, wildtype babies I'm rearing. They are approximately 1" long and although you can't see them clearly on the pics, they all have 2 front legs.

Beautiful babies!! Well done.

Did you keep any of the spawn from Blade or Gilbit?

Mel

Yeah Mel, I have a few of their little ones, just a few weeks old, doing very nicely thanks. No doubt Mike's the dad, they look just like their half siblings.

hi congrats.....well done ...keep the photos coming

Thanks Lea, seeing as how you told me to keep the pics coming, here are some golden albino babies from the same batch. I'm not sure why, but the albinos are all smaller than the wild types, only by a few millimetres, but still noticeable. The albinos took longer to hatch than the wild types and there was a higher mortality rate in the 1st few weeks.
