May have forgotten water conditioner?

A couple days ago I topped off my tank with some water from our tub. While watching YouTube today I realized I don’t remember conditioning it with prime. I rushed upstairs and added more prime into the tank. My axolotl is acting fine, no visible marks or anything on her. She’s still very active and I fed her last night, she ate happily. Is everything ok? It’s also possible I added the dechlorinator without realizing it out of habit.

She should be fine if you were just topping it off. Less than one gallon of untreated water in 20+ shouldn't hurt her unless you have like super toxic and chlorine-filled water. Also, the chlorine will naturally come out of the water in a few days. It depends on the temperature. Overall, I would say you're in good shape if it's a one-time-oopsie. Just make sure you remember to condition it next time
