I just acquired a group of juvie marms. I have them in 2 inches of water and the stay floating on top of the water. Is this normal? Does it take a while for them to master the aquatic environment?

I would suspect they have not been aquatic since morphing.What size are these? Very small Marms tend to enjoy a terrestrial stage. I personally would drop the water to may be a 1cm or so and add plenty of plants for them to be able to settle on if needed. Very gradually raise the water week by week until they are happily aquatic.
