They are fine for axolotls. Some axolotls tear them up though. Make sure you're getting real moss balls and not the ones that petstores sell that float. Those usually have a styrofoam ball in them.

This is true. I had several that my gfp melanoid female shredded then devoured. Nothing like watching an $8 plant get turned into axolotl poop:rofl:

Ha It was pulled from a live tank so I know it's not fake. Charmander just seems to be.. rubbing his body... all over it. Oh gosh, what have I created? Lol
